- Watch for the invite email and accept it from your work computer. If asked to sign in, use your normal work (Microsoft 365 or Google) login.
- If the app asks for a master password, make it a long passphrase you have never used anywhere else. Keep one written copy somewhere safe at home, not at your desk.
- Install the browser extension on your work computer and the app on your phone, then sign in to both.
- Import the passwords your browser has saved, then delete them from the browser and turn off its "offer to save passwords" setting.
- Open your department's shared folders. Shared work logins live there now, so stop keeping copies in spreadsheets, notes or email.
- When you create or change a password, let the password manager generate and save it.
- If autofill doesn't offer your login on a page that looks right, stop and check the web address. It may be a fake site.
- Forgot your master password or got a new phone? Contact us. Don't create a new account.
